Final Social Event of the season
At The Riverside Kelham on Wednesday, March 25th, 7.30 p.m.

Blanca Fernández
Blanca was born in the Basque Country in 1958, the daughter of migrant workers who had left other parts of Spain to escape the poverty that followed the Spanish Civil War. She moved to London in 1980 to learn English and made it her home.
For the next 35 years, Blanca focused on raising her two daughters and working for causes she believed in, while also finding time for adventure. She lived in India in the 1980s, climbed mountains in Nepal, Ecuador, Spain, France and Africa, completed ultramarathons in the Atacama and Gobi deserts, and took part in several cycle tours.
In 2015, she set off on her first long-distance cycling journey. Staying on the road for several years, she rode from London to Cambodia and circumnavigated Africa, covering 57,000 kilometres across 46 countries. Find out more here: http://www.blancaonabike.com/
